Apple-Cranberry fruit sauce

Apples and cranberries both can be sweet and tart among Fruits. Apples are even good to use in other dishes like in chicken. I also like to make a hash with sliced apples,  potatoes and onions.

Ingredients:

3 medium apples (ex., Rome or good baking apples)
  1. 1 can cranberry sauce
  2. 1 tbsp of lemon juice
  3. 1/8 tsp of ground ginger
  4. 3 tbsp of butter
 Preparation:

Preheat the oven upto 350 degrees. Cut the apples in half and remove the seeds in the middle. By taking out the seeds, each apple half should look like a bowl. Arrange the apples in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Then, mix together the cranberry sauce, lemon juice, and ginger. Spoon this mixture over the apples. Put some of the butter on the center of each apple slice. Put the apples in the oven and bake for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, take the baking dish out of the oven and let it cool slightly. Then add nuts with it to have the flavour.
