Importance of water

Nearly 70 percentage of our physical body is made up of water. Our body desires anything from one to four liters of water a day, depending on the temperature, humidity, age and other additional factors. A normal person, however, must be drinking as much as 8 to 10 glasses of water a day, at the same time fifth of the body's necessity of water is sourced from food. The remaining is obtained moreover directly through water or through further liquids. It is water that mixes with our food, making it eatable. After that, it is water that helps to reduce waste products from our digestive system. It also helps us to uphold our body temperature.
Contrary to well-liked belief, you must never have very cold water. Water is best inspired at usual temperature as at excessive temperatures, it disturbs the digestive system of our body. It is an ordinary fact that sugar won't suspend in very cold water. Correspondingly, food too does not bring together well with cold water and this troubles the digestive process. Equally, when we eat very hot water, our digestive enzymes are not concealed fully and this impacts digestion. If possible, eat water half hour before or after meals, and if you should sip something along with your food, try lassi or buttermilk. Several people say tea is good, but in naturopathy, tea, coffee, non-natural juices, and cold drinks bring damage to the body and must be avoided. If you must have tea, choose for pure herbal or lemon tea. Also, you must never have carbonated drinks.

Vegetable and fruit juices are fine too. These are filled with vitamins and nutrients facts, antioxidants, minerals and enzymes. With a large amount of India reeling under huge heat, it is sensible to take cucumber, pomegranate, sweet lime or watermelon juice varied with lemon juice and honey. Green coconut and the stem of the banana fruit are moreover very good. A tremendous start to your day is when you eat three to four glasses of water stored in a copper vessel. Have it taste by sip, and never at one go. This is a superb make well for constipation as well.

Here are a few other tips regarding water:

  • Juices must all the time be fresh. Avoid juices that have been stored for extended days.
  • Drink water and juices gently, sip by sip.
  • Not at all warm juices. Have them in their normal state - without sugar or salt.
  • Do not eat lemon and honey with extremely hot water. The water must hardly be lukewarm.
  • Take vegetable and fruit juices individually.
